Business Development Administrator - Ottawa, ON

Position Title: Business Development Administrator
Employment Status: 6 month Contract
Office: Ottawa
Department: Business Development
Required: January 2010

Position Description:
As the firms Business Development Administrator you will be responsible for the support and implementation of firm wide business development initiatives as set out by the Partners.

You will be required to:

• Compile and maintain databases for all Business Development initiatives including emails, direct mail, events etc.
• Assist in coordinating MBM Foreign Associate Reciprocity Agreements
• Coordinate sponsorships, conference attendance and registration, membership applications and renewals
• Assist the ongoing execution of a branding campaign including advertising, newsletters, event planning, web content, press releases, professional and firm profiles etc.
• Assist with the planning of events for existing and potential clients
• Ensure that MBM’s visual identity (branding, formatting etc.) is maintained

Qualifications

Required:

• Post secondary degree in Marketing or equivalent
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work with deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive and diplomatic demeanour
 

Other Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Access and FrontPage as well as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop strongly preferred, but not required.
