Grant Walters, Ph.D.

Patent Agent Trainee

Grant joined MBM in March 2023. He is a CPATA-registered Patent Agent in Training. While developing his practice, he assists MBM clients with drafting and prosecuting patent applications.

Grant has expertise in optical, green energy, nanomaterial, and quantum technologies. Prior to joining MBM, he led and was broadly involved in research projects spanning these technology areas. As an author of more than 50 scientific publications, Grant has been designated a Clarivate Cross-Field Highly Cited Researcher. Having also previously worked in a research hospital, he has experience in drafting for the biomedical and health sciences.

In his spare time, Grant enjoys exploring nature, travelling, climbing, knitting, and studying Latin.
