Fanqi (Grace) Wang

Associate Lawyer

Grace has been called to the Ontario Bar in May 2021 and is currently an Associate Lawyer at MBM’s Ottawa office.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore (“NUS”) in 2011 and later went back to NUS to complete her Master of Science degree in 2016. Grace is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 6 years of work experience in project management and business operations, that she gained before starting law school.

Grace is passionate about innovation and always wanted to be an intellectual property lawyer. In 2017, Grace went to the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University (“Osgoode”) where she completed her Juris Doctor degree. During her time at Osgoode, she volunteered at the IP Osgoode Innovation Clinic, helping provide pro bono IP and technology law information and assistance to start-ups and inventors working to commercialize their inventions and pursue IP protections.

At MBM, Grace is assisting MBM professionals with various intellectual property matters. 

In her free time, Grace is an avid travel enthusiast and enjoys reading comics and cooking.
