Bart Cormier
Bart Cormier’s practice focuses on matters
relating to the filing, prosecution, and enforcement of both Canadian and
international patent applications, including patent prosecution, patent drafting, and international IP portfolio coordination.
Bart's experience also
extends to matters relating to the filing, prosecution and
enforcement of Canadian and international trademarks, including trademark clearance opinions, settlement agreements, opposition proceedings, and expungement proceedings. He also deals with copyright prosecution and enforcement as well as domain name dispute resolution.
Bart lectures at the
University of Ottawa on property rights in human tissues as
part of a larger course on intellectual property law as it
relates to biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
