Dr. Michael Maskery
Michael Maskery’s practice
focuses on the drafting and prosecution of patent applications
in wide variety of technologies including wireless and wired
networks, communication and control systems, electronics,
Internet and computer-related technologies. Michael’s
expertise extends to software and firmware design and computer
automated systems as well as electrical, mechanical, and
software arts.
Michael’s doctoral work
focused on the analysis and design of decentralized,
wireless-enabled systems using game theory, stochastic
control, bayesian filtering, and adaptive filtering with
applications in the areas of wireless sensor networks,
defense, and competitive radio spectrum access. Michael has
also worked on the development and stability analysis of
active queue management strategies high-speed TCP data
networks.
Prior to joining MBM,
Michael worked as a Protection and Control Engineer for Hydro
One Network Services, where he was responsible for ongoing
operation and upgrading of protection and control systems for
high-voltage power transmission networks. Additionally, as a
Test Engineer with Celestica, Inc, Michael developed automated
functional test systems for quality control in electronics
manufacturing.
Michael has co-authored
five international journal articles, two book chapters, and
presented his work at several international conferences.
