Dr. Nancy Raimondi
Nancy Raimondi’s expertise
is in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in
the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology and
biotechnology, with an emphasis on nutraceutical,
phytotherapeutic, biopesticide and adjuvant technologies.
Nancy is responsible for the development of intellectual
property strategies and works closely with clients and
associates in the worldwide management and coordination of
patent portfolios.
Nancy has had many years
of practical experience in the field of scientific research.
She has a specialized background in plant physiology,
phytochemistry, and plant molecular biology, and has carried
out a number of collaborative research projects with teams
from the Plant Biotechnology Institute (PBI) and the BC
Ministry of Forests (MOF).
Nancy has co-authored
several scientific publications on biolistics, signal
transduction, protein characterization and gene expression.
Her findings relating to plant hormone metabolism and CnABI
regulation have been published in such scientific journals as
Plant Molecular Biology and the Journal of Experimental
Botany. In addition, she has presented her research at various
conferences worldwide.
