Deborah Rivera

Deborah is a Paralegal with the firm’s Patent Prosecution Team. She is responsible for the records management and docketing of Canadian and foreign patent applications in the prosecution stage. Deborah prepares and files Canadian and foreign patent applications and assists with the prosecution of same. She corresponds regularly with clients, the Canadian Patent Office, and the World Intellectual Property Organization. Deborah monitors the ongoing progress of office actions and generates patent action reports daily. She also ensures that new systems are implemented across the entire patent department and keeps up to date with related changes in other departments.
