Dr. Jennifer Spronck
Jennifer Spronck drafts, prosecutes, and
completes patents in the fields of biochemistry, cellular and
molecular biology, toxicology, and nutrition, with an emphasis
on cancer research; specifically including DNA damage/repair,
genomic stability, and alterations of gene expression. On
behalf of clients, Jennifer regularly corresponds with foreign
associates to ensure clients' worldwide IP protection.
Jennifer’s extensive research background
includes investigating the role(s) of niacin nutrition in the
maintenance of genomic stability as well as the identification
of DNA-nutrient interactions that modulate cancer risk and
alter cellular sensitivity to chemotherapeutic agents. At the
Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre, she worked on the analysis of
p53 regulated gene expression and the identification of novel
genes involved in tumour suppression and DNA repair.

Canadian Patent Agent.
