James Wagner
James Wagner is involved
with the legal issues relating to patent enforcement. He
practices principally in the area of intellectual property
litigation, particularly relating to patent, trade-mark,
copyright and trade secrets law. He has appeared before the
B.C. Supreme Court and the Federal Court of Canada.
James also negotiates and
drafts various intellectual property-related agreements,
including license agreements, confidentiality and
non-disclosure agreements at various stages of technology
development and negotiation, research and development
agreements, manufacture and supply agreements, co-existence
agreements, and assignments.
Prior to joining MBM,
James conducted research in the field of Cell and Molecular
Biology, and was a Teaching Assistant for the Department of
Biology and for the Department of Biochemistry at Simon Fraser
University.
